Don't expect the P90's to sound like a Strat in the 2 and 4 positions, though. Higher output pickups like that will definately effect the "quack" of those positions.

The Fralin noiseless P90 for bridge and Alnico rods neck are fantastic. Great P90 tones. The neck is especially clean, chimey...sounds nice with gain too. Have this set in my CS LP Special.

P90's I've used include GFS, Fralin, Lollar, Gibson, Duncan, Dimarzio, and Epiphone and while all sounded like a P90, they also had their own vibe going on, some more than others.

I have his mean/meaner set P90 but i asked him to underwound it. Its sounds great, its sounds less strident as the original gibson P90's that was in the guitar, it reminded me of a real vintage P90's. but …
